Pico serves as a centralized interface for accessing advanced large language models on Apple devices. Developed by Starling Protocol, Inc., the application supports both subscription-based access and personal API keys from providers such as OpenAI and Groq. The app focuses on organization and privacy. Conversations are stored in customizable folders, with sensitive chats protected by TouchID or FaceID. Users can favorite specific interactions and use full-text search to retrieve past information quickly. Beyond text, Pico enables document analysis by allowing users to chat with PDFs, Word files, Excel sheets, e-books, and HTML pages. It also integrates GPT-4 Vision for image-based queries.
