Deep Research is an iOS and macOS application developed by Best Surgical Education, LLC designed to provide comprehensive answers to user queries. Unlike standard search engines or general AI chatbots that offer quick but often superficial results, this app focuses on generating extremely detailed summaries accompanied by appropriate web links. It targets journalists, students, medical professionals, and others who require deep dives into specific subjects such as politics, sports, job searches, or scientific inquiries.

The application utilizes state-of-the-art web scrapers to retrieve entire web pages, followed by summary generation using large language models (LLMs) via OpenAI’s API. Each search processes nearly one million tokens, comparable to the size of an entire textbook, ensuring depth and accuracy. The process occurs on remote servers, allowing users to background or close the app while it works; results typically take about ten minutes to generate. Users can modify portions of the summary using AI and export final documents to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or PDF formats. The app offers three free searches upon installation.
