इस ऐप के बारे में
SelectTranslate is a browser extension available on iOS and macOS designed to facilitate cross-language reading and communication. It supports translation across various formats including web pages, PDF documents (including academic papers via PDF Plus), ePub eBooks, Word files, TXT, HTML, Markdown, and subtitle files like SRT/ASS. The tool features bilingual webpage translation, displaying translations beneath original text for seamless reading. It also handles image translation via right-click or hover, input field translation, and real-time online meeting translation for voice subtitles and chat messages. Video subtitle translation is supported on platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and TED. The application leverages over 20 AI models, employing an “Optimal Translation” feature that scores outputs from parallel models to select the best result. Additional tools include “AI Expert” for domain-specific prompts and “Termbase” for managing specialized terminology. Recent updates added gesture-based translation, manga support for Tapas, and Gemini 3.8 Flash as the default model.
