ScanTexter – OCR AI translate

ScanTexter by BoardTack comb

ScanTexter is a productivity tool developed by BoardTack that integrates optical character recognition (OCR) with machine translation. Designed for iOS and macOS users, the app allows you to capture text from images or videos and immediately translate it into various languages. Key features include barcode scanning (QR, AZTEC, UPC-E), link recognition, and automatic language detection on iOS 16+. Users can choose between the default translation engine or integrate DeepL. Notably, recent updates support bringing your own API keys for advanced models like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude, with tiered pricing options. Data synchronization across devices is handled via iCloud.
