Pico LLM frontend AI Assistant

इस ऐप के बारे में

Pico serves as a centralized interface for accessing advanced large language models on Apple devices. Developed by Starling Protocol, Inc., the application supports both subscription-based access and personal API keys from providers such as OpenAI and Groq. This flexibility allows users to utilize models including GPT-4 and Llama 3 without being locked into a single ecosystem.

The app focuses on organization and privacy. Conversations are stored in customizable folders, with sensitive chats protected by TouchID or FaceID. Users can favorite specific interactions and use full-text search to retrieve past information quickly. Beyond text, Pico enables document analysis by allowing users to chat with PDFs, Word files, Excel sheets, e-books, and HTML pages. It also integrates GPT-4 Vision for image-based queries.

While current operations rely on cloud-based models, the developer has announced an upcoming feature called “Pico Privacy,” which will offer a fully local AI assistant to keep data entirely on-device. The app ensures that user data is not tracked or sold in its current configuration. It is available as a free download with optional subscription tiers for advanced model access.
