Happy is a mobile companion application designed for developers using Claude Code or Codex on their computers. It enables users to monitor long-running AI coding tasks from an iOS device without needing to be at their desk. The app allows users to start new sessions, resume interrupted ones, approve or deny permission requests, and review file changes with colored diffs. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that code and prompts remain private, with keys stored locally on the user’s devices. The software is open-source under the MIT license, and requires a local Happy Desktop installation or CLI to function as a bridge between the computer and the phone.
