Torii Image Translator

Acerca de esta app

Torii Image Translator is a Safari extension designed for manga readers, comic enthusiasts, and scanlators. It uses AI to translate text directly inside web images, memes, infographics, and PDFs without leaving the browser. The tool automatically erases original text and overlays translations seamlessly.

Key capabilities include Warp & Photoshop-style editing, allowing users to customize fonts, colors, line spacing, and rotation. It supports vertical top-to-bottom text layouts common in Japanese and Chinese media. A “Speech Bubbles Only” mode isolates dialogue for focused translation. Context-aware translations maintain consistency across pages by passing summaries between them.

Users can bring their own API keys from providers like Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, and Grok, or connect to self-hosted local models via LM Studio for free translations. Batch tools allow global editing of multiple images, PDF translation, screen cropping, and ZIP export. A curated font library includes WildWords, Shonen, and Heroika, with support for custom .ttf or .otf uploads.
