Theo8080 — On-Device AI

Acerca de esta app

Theo8080 is a private, on-device AI assistant designed for iPhone and iPad users who prioritize privacy and personal control over their AI interactions. Unlike cloud-based services, Theo8080 ensures that all prompts and conversations remain stored locally on the user’s device, eliminating the need to send data to external servers.

The app allows users to download and run local AI models directly from Hugging Face, a widely used repository for open-source models. This feature enables offline functionality and greater customization of the AI experience. Users can fine-tune how the assistant responds by adjusting settings such as temperature, context window, and system prompts, allowing for tailored behavior that matches individual needs.

Key capabilities include private text chatting, vision-capable analysis of photos from the device library, and management of conversation history. The interface provides performance metrics like response time and generation speed to help users monitor efficiency. Built for native performance on compatible Apple devices, Theo8080 offers a fast, secure environment for experimenting with local AI models. However, users are advised to verify important information, as open models may occasionally produce errors or inaccuracies.
