Rudyard: AI Writing App

Acerca de esta app

Rudyard is a writing application designed for users who prioritize craft and focus. It features a distraction-free editor with live Markdown formatting, auto-save version history, and full offline support with automatic sync when connectivity returns. The app includes a companion web app at rudyard.app for larger screens.

The core differentiator is Wordsmith, an AI writing companion integrated into the workflow. Unlike generic generators, Wordsmith uses ‘Personas’—voice profiles created by uploading samples of the user’s own writing (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or plain text). This allows the AI to adapt its tone, rhythm, and style to match the author. Features include brainstorming openings, fact-checking claims, finding transitions, grammar refinement, and AI-powered research that finds relevant sources without leaving the draft. Custom instructions allow users to specify exactly how they want assistance. Rudyard Pro subscription is required for AI features.
