Reco Social

Acerca de esta app

Reco Social is a mobile application designed to bridge the gap between consuming social media content and taking action on it. The app addresses the common frustration of finding valuable information—such as restaurant locations, film titles, or product links—buried within standard posts without clear tags or sponsorship disclosures.

The core functionality relies on an integrated AI system that automatically scans incoming posts to detect and extract these specific recommendations. Users can send any post from external sources directly into Reco, which then identifies the embedded suggestions. Once identified, users have the ability to save and organize these items for future reference, preventing them from getting lost in the endless scroll.

Beyond extraction, the platform facilitates community interaction through a feature called RealTalk. This allows users to ask questions directly to creators, with the community voting to surface the most relevant inquiries. Creators respond to these top-voted questions, fostering a structured exchange rather than typical comment sections. The app is available for free on iOS and focuses on providing a utility-driven social experience where content becomes usable data.
