It utilizes Apple SpeechAnalyzer for instant transcription in 15 languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, and French. Long recordings are automatically split, processed, and merged with speaker detection.

The core functionality relies on Apple Foundation Models running on the Neural Engine. This enables offline generation of corrected transcriptions, smart summaries, key discussion points, action items, topic tags, and auto-generated titles. Users can interact with their recordings via a local chat interface, asking questions about decisions made or specific statements. The app emphasizes privacy, storing all data locally in the Documents folder protected by Face ID or passcode, with no cloud integration or account required.
