Nomad-AI

Acerca de esta app

Nomad-AI is a privacy-focused mobile application developed by Neven Skoro that provides intelligent assistance entirely on the user’s device. Powered by Meta Llama 3.2, the app processes all conversations locally, ensuring no data is sent to external servers or collected during use. This makes it suitable for users requiring strict data confidentiality or those working in environments with limited internet connectivity.

The application features a built-in Document Library that allows users to import PDFs, photos, and text files into searchable collections. A specific Document Q&A mode restricts AI responses strictly to this imported content, reducing hallucinations for research tasks. Users can also create smart notes with Markdown formatting and sync their history across Apple devices via iCloud.

For advanced usage, Nomad-AI automatically discovers and connects to local Ollama servers over WiFi, leveraging more powerful desktop models when available. It also offers optional integration with OpenAI API keys for cloud-based models and web search capabilities. The app requires approximately 3 GB of storage for the base model and is optimized for recent iPhone and iPad hardware.
