Developed by Kaila Consulting Inc, it eliminates the need for internet connectivity, subscriptions, or external servers, ensuring conversations never leave the user’s device. The app supports a wide range of open-source language models, including Gemma, Qwen, Llama, and OpenELM, allowing users to download only what fits their storage. Key features include natural language chat with persistent memory, Siri and Shortcuts integration, and neural voice responses. Beyond text, Lekh AI provides comprehensive image tools such as generation from text descriptions using SD 1.5/SDXL, inpainting, object removal, colorization, and 3D model creation. It also functions as a local AI server via REST API, enabling developers to access AI capabilities from other apps on the local network. Additional utilities include an eBook library with AI summaries, OCR vision features, and customizable AI personas.
