Cloak: Offline AI

Acerca de esta app

Cloak by Polyaura LLC offers a privacy-focused AI experience entirely within the iOS ecosystem. Unlike cloud-dependent assistants, Cloak processes data locally on the device, ensuring that chats, photos, location history, and voice memos never leave the user’s phone. The application eliminates the need for accounts, tracking, or internet connectivity.

Key functionalities include an instant chat interface that prepares recommended local models in the background, allowing immediate interaction. Users can also leverage the ‘Recap Your Week’ feature, which synthesizes activity from the past seven days using optional inputs like Photos, Location, and Voice Memos. Additionally, the app transforms recorded thoughts or existing voice memos into structured notes, next steps, or new chat topics.

The app prioritizes simplicity and power efficiency, handling model management and runtime configurations automatically. It supports two model sizes to accommodate different device memory constraints, requiring approximately 3.35 GB on most devices and 806 MB on lower-memory variants. Priced as a one-time purchase, Cloak includes active development and future updates, positioning itself as a secure alternative for users seeking offline AI capabilities.
