Background Changer: BetterBG

Acerca de esta app

Background Changer: BetterBG, developed by LUMINATION AI LTD, is a mobile application designed for iOS users to edit photo backgrounds. The app provides three core functions: background removal, replacement, and blurring. Users can instantly erase backgrounds using automated detection tools that aim for precise edge handling, particularly around complex details like hair or clothing. For manual adjustments, the app includes erase and restore brushes.

Once a background is removed, users can replace it with one of over 300 pre-designed templates covering categories such as gradients, nature, urban scenes, and abstract art. Alternatively, the app features an AI Background Generator that creates custom backdrops based on text descriptions, such as “beach at sunset” or “urban night street.” A blur feature allows users to simulate depth-of-field effects to highlight subjects.

The app targets individuals, content creators, and small businesses who need professional-looking visuals without studio equipment. It supports product photography by combining clean cutouts with realistic templates. Privacy measures include temporary processing and automatic deletion of images, with no data storage or sharing. The interface is designed for ease of use, allowing quick edits for social media posts, profiles, or marketing materials.
