Accounting AI Tutor – Homework

Acerca de esta app

Accounting AI Tutor is an educational utility designed to assist students with introductory accounting, college coursework, and CPA preparation. The app allows users to input problems by typing them or scanning printed/handwritten questions with a camera. Upon submission, the application generates clear, step-by-step solutions that include the specific formulas used, the final answer, and explanatory text for each stage of the calculation.

Beyond problem-solving, the app features a suite of free offline tools. These include calculators for the accounting equation (Assets = Liabilities + Equity), straight-line and declining-balance depreciation methods, and various financial ratios such as current ratio, quick ratio, debt-to-equity, ROE, and gross margin. An equation visualizer and searchable formula reference are also available without requiring a subscription.

The app supports study habits through built-in flashcards and quizzes covering topics like debit/credit rules, financial statements, and depreciation. Users can save their solve history locally on their device for future review, search, or copying. The developer emphasizes privacy by not requiring account sign-ups and storing problem images only on the device, not on servers. A free tier offers three full solved examples, while unlimited solving requires an upgrade.
