About this app

Baidu’s AI Smart Search is a mobile application that merges core search functionality with generative AI tools powered by the Wenxin Yiyan large language model. The app allows users to perform multimodal searches, enabling image-based queries to identify content and deliver precise results. A dedicated ‘Wenxin Assistant’ feature provides solutions for complex questions, academic problem-solving via photo capture, and creative generation including text, images, and videos. Beyond search, the platform aggregates diverse media, including curated news, short dramas, and novels with cloud-synced reading progress. It also supports voice interactions with dialect recognition and facilitates video creation and consumption directly within the interface.
